Pay attention to the soft skills you can sell. After the pandemic, they are becoming more and more important. If your local job board job requires missing skills, don't be afraid to continue educating and learn new skills.

Stay Open for Remote Work

According to our survey, 71% of workers around the world want to work more remotely in the future than they did before the pandemic. And companies pay attention to it. By 2028, it is estimated that nearly 3/4 of all teams in all departments will have remote workers. By opening a remote job after moving, you are not restricted to your location. Also, if you're like the average American who moved to the suburbs last year, you can work for a large company headquartered in a big city (no commuting, no space to work from home).

Look at the temporary opportunities

There is no better time to try a temporary job than after moving, especially during a pandemic. Before joining, you will not only get a glimpse of the new home job market first, but also make connections related to your area and start learning new skills. Since the pandemic, 4,444 temporary workers have been in great demand. Since 2020, more than half of companies have increased the use of temporary workers, and the number of temporary workers has increased by two-thirds.
